Membership At Sky Valley Country Club
If you are exploring what the Sky Valley community has to offer then we already have something in common. We have all been enchanted and drawn to this remarkable spot in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Now that you too have discovered paradise, we would like to extend an invitation to learn more about what our community has to offer.
First, consider a membership to Sky Valley Country Club. We think you will be pleased to discover the variety of amenities and opportunities it affords you. Sky Valley Country Club opened with about 350 Members. Approximately one-third of the Members are year-round residents of Sky Valley or neighboring areas of Rabun County, GA and Macon County, NC. The majority, however, are 4-6 month seasonal residents of Sky Valley from all over the Southeast. Becoming a member is an ideal way to meet those living in and around our community.
Membership at Sky Valley means you have access to the Clubhouse, special events and an extensive calendar of activities, membership discounts, and preferred status benefits. The private clubhouse is nestled in our beautiful valley surrounded by mountain views overlooking our scenic lake and our 72 par, 18 holes, championship golf course. Its welcoming rustic ambiance and stunning architectural features create a warm and engaging setting for our members and their family and guests. There is always something fun happening as our members are all about enjoying life!
In season, the Clubhouse is open to its members Tuesdays through Saturdays with lunch and dinner service available. Be sure to check the calendar for specific days and times, and special events. The Clubhouse is open shorter hours in the off season. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the always delightful company of your fellow members, their families, and friends.
Golfing at Sky Valley Country Club’s semi-private course, as a member, entitles you to join all weekly member golfing events. Golf discounts and special offers that increase the value of your membership. PGA Head Golf Professional, Mark Carlson, is available for private golf lessons or special membership clinics. If you’d like to arrange tee times for yourself or group/family tournaments, be sure to give Mark a call at the Pro Shop, 706-746-5302 ext 2. Special breakfast, lunch, dinner or grill and chill arrangements can also be coordinated for you and your guests when enjoying a golf outing. Open 7 days a week, year-round, weather permitting, there is always time to discover this premiere, pristine golf course.

Amenities Include:

Croquet Membership
A Croquet Membership is available with an annual upgrade in cost to a Social Membership.
Our Croquet Lawn opened to tremendous success in June of 2018! With member sponsorship and yearly subscribers, we were able to complete our regulation sized, double Croquet lawn as well as a Bocce Ball Court. (Bocce Ball is included in the Club membership.)
This is not the backyard game that we all remember playing as kids. It is a strategic game that can be played on all skill levels. Men and women are able to compete on an equal basis, as this is a game of skill, and finesse, not just strength. It's a terrific low impact sport, perfect for players of all ages.
Matches are more quickly played, as the lawns turn over to new players approximately every thirty minutes. And did we mention what many think is the best part? The social aspect, as in between the games you can visit with other members, spectate and enjoy food & drink in our Pavilion!

Golf Simulator
The Golf Simulator is included for use with all of our golf memberships. Social Members may add access to the Golf Simulator for a nominal yearly fee.

Clay Tennis Courts
All of our memberships include access to the hard tennis courts but we do allow social members to add access to the clay tennis courts for an annual amenity fee.
